Join the Black Sheep Inn and the Middletown Historical Society at our Murder Mystery to seek answers to an actual murder…The United Methodist Church, 8 Front Street, Addison, NY is the location for this special event. The trial you will be involved in is an actual case based on a real murder and the subsequent trial that happened in what was known as Middletown at the time. The Historical Society is presenting the event and has invited real attorneys, judge and you, the jury, to participate. Although you are the audience you also become the jury and decide the fate of the accused. Refreshments will be served while serving on the jury, and upon arrival back at the Inn, Dinner and discussion await, along with a few other surprises.

It is all about Ewe, so while you're here learning the art of Traditional Rug Hooking with one of the best around, (Ms. Victoria Graham), you will enjoy a private wine tasting, Glass Blowing and much more. Goddesses Unite! - Visiting Artisan Series

Two-day PMC workshop. September 2-4, 2010

Loving your Mom just became easier at the Black Sheep Inn, where you, your Mother, daughter, aunts and cousins can join up to discover how special each of you is to the other, and that you can all enjoy some much needed time away from your hectic lives. Spend 3 wonderful evenings at the Black Sheep Inn, and you will also discover PMC –Precious Metal Clay, A revolutionary clay-like medium that allows you to mold or sculpt Your own designs and fire them into finished . 999 fine silver pieces.

Join sculptor and jeweler Mary Lynn Good of Goff Creek Pottery for a hands-on workshop where participants will learn the basics of construction techniques using PMC, texturing, making hollow forms, carving, stone setting, firing and metal finishing techniques using polishing methods and patina. Participants will create their own beads, pendants, rings or earrings to take home at the end of class! Also while on your nurturing journey with family, enjoy other hands on excursions with all your favorite people, glass blowing, paint your own pottery, “crafting” something special are just a few of the excursions scheduled. Fine food, great wine and all of you together! Five hours of individual instruction per day, with ample time for lunch and breaks. One package of PMC per person plus select gems and findings. Unlimited use of tools and stamps, firing, polishing and finishing included.

Come sail away with me

Join the Black Sheep Inn, Captain Terry and first mate from Seneca Sailing Adventures for a wonderful 3-hour sailing excursion, you can be delighted with stories of the lake or learn all about sailing from the experts. You choose... We’ ll send along a cooler full of goodies, and the rest is up to you. Once you disembark from the sailing tour, you will be met by a limo for an afternoon tour of local wineries and end at one of our favorite haunts for dinner. Arrive back at the Inn and relax with friends by the fire and get ready for tomorrow!

For your next day's excursions, we'll set you out on a kayak for a half day excursion on Keuka Lake. Paddle at your leisure, see the sights and enjoy your time on one of the most beautiful of all the Finger Lakes! When you return to the Inn, enjoy dinner fireside and end your wonderful nautical weekend with a special gift from the Inn.

See the Finger Lakes from a most invigorating vantage point, a hot air balloon... Join
us at the Black Sheep Inn for your own personal ride in a hot air balloon. This may be a once in a lifetime event. Want to pop that special question? This is the perfect setting. We set you off to sail for a few hours of the most scenic views of the region and end with signature "landing breakfast." Spend the rest of the day floating along Market Street in Corning; grab dinner at a local establishment and head back for a fireside snack.

For your second day with us, enjoy a wine trail ride in your own limo, leave the driving to someone else and enjoy our signature wine trail cooler of goodies.
