Welcome to The Taylor Suite, our expansive first floor guest room at the Black Sheep Inn and Spa. Named in recognition of the area's association with the Taylor name. This first floor suite proudly offers a king-size bed featuring a comfy duvet, plush upholstered headboard, luxurious decorative fabrics, and a sophisticated and inviting color scheme. Some of the many amenities incorporated into this suite include a hand-knotted woven area rug displaying a primitive grape motif, a romantic private patio as well as further direct access to the stone courtyard out back. As well as an eclectic mix of beautifully restored antique pieces, special features of this suite include a vintage oak Murphy bed and a spacious seating area. Secluded in its' own wing, the Taylor Suite offers considerable privacy if you choose and yet it is very accessible to the rest of the Inn.

The Pleasant Valley Room is named after the valley in which the Black Sheep Inn and Spa sits. The largest room on the second floor of our Keuka Lake bed and breakfast, this room offers a colorful escape from everyday life with furnishings and fabrics that are reminiscent of the beautiful colors found in Pleasant Valley during the spring and summer months. Overlooking the landscaped stone courtyard, the Pleasant Valley Room presents a king-size bed with a comfy duvet, spacious seating area and a large closet for your comfort and convenience.

The Curtiss Room is named after world-renowned pioneer aviator, inventor, and Hammondsport native, Glenn H. Curtiss. This well appointed room offers a Mission-style queen bed and a comfy duvet, as well as a plush hand-knotted Tibetan rug. The Curtiss room is decorated in a style that conveys a sense of romance through travel and invention. The blue walls in this room could represent either the waters of Keuka Lake or the skies of the Finger Lakes region, and resonate a true feeling of calm and serenity, aided by the picturesque view from the Curtiss Room showing a wooded area across the valley.

The Younglove Room gets its name from the original owner and builder of our 1859 octagon house. Along with constructing the octagon house, Timothy Meigs Younglove was one of the founding members of the Pleasant Valley Winery in 1860, and an important local businessman. The guest room that bears his name, The Younglove Room, exhibits an inviting and stately charm, with deep rich colors and a queen-size sleigh bed over a lush hand-knotted rug. This room offers a south eastern view of the picturesque landscape across the valley

As with all of the guest rooms, the Wood Room offers a private bath with tub and shower that features an exposed brick chimney and authentic William Morris wallpaper over the painted bead board. The Wood Room has special meaning as it is named after our neighbor Paul Wood, who is the great-great grandson of Timothy Younglove, the builder of our magnificent octagon house. Paul actually occupied this room in his youth. In the Wood Room you will find that there's a relaxed environment, decorated in warm tones and calming fabrics.

The Garden Suite is a stylish self-contained annex to a historic octagon house bed and breakfast. Contains full size bed, mini kitchen, fire, TV, en-suite shower room and outside use of shared terrace with its' own bistro furniture. You are welcome to enjoy our 2.75 acre garden, light a fire in our fire pit and join us for breakfast if desired (additional cost involved. Please request when booking). We are located 1 level mile to Hammondsport with its' many restaurants and antique shops and 1.25 from Lake Keuka
