Elopement Packages
Picture yourselves starting your new adventure together by our woodland gazebo, accompanied by the sound of the nearby babbling brook. Alternatively you can say your vows on the front porch of our historic inn, on our rear terrace that's adjacent to our fountain or perhaps within our cozy Inn lounge. With so many stunning locations both outdoors and indoors to choose from, finding the perfect spot for capturing that special moment has never been easier. Elopements are our specialty so leave the planning and the stressful details to us and just focus on having an amazing and memory-filled experience at our romantic inn. Our maximum wedding guest capacity is 10 and that's in addition to yourselves who will be accommodated within our honeymoon suite.

Vow Renewals
Rekindle memories of your magical wedding day. Renew your commitment to your life partner with an intimate vow renewal ceremony. Choose either of the Elopement packages for your vow renewal, and we’ll reduce either package price by $100.
Black Sheep Inn Elopement Policies
The package prices listed above are subject to change without notice however we will guarantee you a fixed price once you have booked. There are no refunds on package cancellations however we will issue you a credit for the full amount paid should you choose to simply postpone. The credit can be applied towards the cost of either a future package booking and/ or a future stay(s) at our inn.
The package prices quoted above do not include lodging**, taxes or gratuities and are for the elopement couple plus 4 guests. Each additional elopement ceremony guest*** will be charged $75 plus tax.
Elopement packages are limited to the couple and up to 10 guests.
Prices cover up to two hours of facilities rental.
The wedding couple will need to book a two-night minimum stay at our inn. Ideally in our honeymoon suite (subject to availability) Weekend stays must include a Friday in order for the necessary paperwork to be completed on a week-day at the local Town Office (Office closes at 4pm)
Minimally we require a 2 night stay at the inn for any guests wishing to stay during the summer/autumn months (call us to discuss your options for off-season stays)
A daily breakfast is included with each room reservation and our dining facilities are limited to the number of staying guests. Because of this, only overnight guests can be catered for at breakfast. Under normal circumstances, inn guests must be 12 years of age or over. However, we can be flexible about age limits should the entire inn be booked out for the wedding party.
Regardless of the above, we will waive the minimum age requirement for any children of the wedding couple.
Purchase of travel and event insurance is highly recommended.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. All packages must be paid in full 90 days prior to the event date. Deposits and balances paid for events are non-refundable but can be used as credits for a revised elopement or vow renewal dates or future inn stays.
* Prices; Pleasant Valley package - $1,400 plus tax From Memorial Day weekend through to Oct 31st, otherwise $1,200 plus tax. Black Sheep package - $999 plus tax From Memorial Day weekend to Oct 31st, $799 plus tax otherwise. Vow Renewal - prices as above, minus $100.

*** Maximum 6 further guests, i.e. totaling 12 people including the elopement couple.
New York State Wedding Requirements
Any two eligible adults (over 18 years of age) may get legally married in New York.
The process to obtain a New York marriage license is easy and does not require blood tests. There is a 24 hour waiting period after the license is issued before the ceremony.
A marriage license can be obtained from any New York Town Clerk and is valid for 60 days.
Both parties need to be present and provide proof of identity.
If a previous marriage existed, an original copy of divorce papers or a death certificate must be provided.
We highly recommend calling the Urbana Town Clerk for an appointment to apply for your marriage license - 607-569-3743. The appointment usually lasts about 45 minutes.
